China National Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (Sinopharm) has been devoted to material and drug supplies to support central SOEs' overseas projects to resume construction since early March when the COVID-19 epidemic took a turn for the better.

Sinopharm started to cooperate with China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNMC) and China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) as early as March 11 on work supporting overseas projects.

So far, the company has received demands for hundreds of thousands of medical prevention articles, more than 100,000 boxes of test kits, thousands of boxes of Chinese traditional and Western drugs as well as over ten thousand pieces of equipment such as breathing apparatus from over 30 overseas offices of more than 50 central SOEs.

By March 23, Sinopharm had shipped 200,000 masks to Macao-based Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited and signed purchase contracts with some medical departments in other countries including Djibouti.

Sinopharm is currently working on purchase standards and delivery of varieties of supplies with 17 central SOEs including CCCC, China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd., China Three Gorges Corporation, China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, China General Nuclear Power Corporation, State Power Investment Corporation, State Grid Corporation of China (State Grid), China Gezhouba Group Corporation, China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. and Huateng Group.
